A smart jungle in a hotel
Dubai is the city of records and it is ready to surpass itself by bringing the jungle to the desert. It will be located in the Rosemont Hotel and Residences, belonging to the Hilton chain, and will open in 2018. With abundant waterfalls, a swimming pool and café, the jungle will have a humidity simulator that will recreate rain, but without making people wet. The complex, designed by ZAS Architects, will comprise two 53-storey towers, with 448 hotel rooms and 280 apartments, equipped with the latest advances in home automation. The tropical jungle, measuring 7,000 square metres, will be the main attraction, although it will have to share the limelight with an artificial beach, an infinity pool and a starry sky, made possible by an illuminated glass roof.
